FlanCake by Gaby is a Latina, family-owned, small business located in Silver Spring, Maryland founded by Gaby Argoti-Fernandez in 2020. The company specializes in the unique dessert of flancakes. We serve the DC, Maryland, Virginia area the best FlanCake! Made with love and cheer, FlanCake by Gaby has served over 300 people in the DMV area. FlanCakes have captured the attention of hundreds due to their incredible 15+ different flavors. Our mission is to bring friends and families together through the joy of a sweet treat.

Gaby's mother, Carmela, and her sisters, Isabel and Natalia, help manage the business. Inspired by their Ecuadorian roots and generations of family who have managed family-run restaurants, sustaining a local and tasty business comes naturally to the matriarchy team. The team is also passionate about serving its community and helping others. 

 

FlanCake by Gaby has initiated numerous partnerships ranging from community service with street vendors, shared business with local coffee shops, feeding families in need, participating at conferences, and company giveaways. The small business also launched the community Pending FlanCake Program, a sponsorship initiative, and has been recognized by CNS News, The MoCo Show, and various bloggers. FlanCake by Gaby was recognized by the Maryland Department of Commerce during Hispanic Heritage Month and has also been a part of the Rockville Chamber of Commerce.
